Brian Kuk, US Soccer National ‘A’ License, US Soccer Coaching Education Instructor and US Soccer Training Centers Coaching Staff will oversee your camp experience in Connecticut and Virginia. Coach Kuk has over 20 years successful camp directing experience. Cory Greiner, Associate Men’s Soccer Coach at Emory University will Co-Direct, while Shay Bell, US Soccer National ‘A’ License and National Youth License, will be an Associate Director. Brian, Cory, Shay, and the entire STA Coaching Staff pride themselves on providing you a FUN, EDUCATIONAL and CHALLENGING/COMPETITIVE environment. We are the first overnight soccer camp experience for the Recreation, Advanced, Elite and College Quest Experience players. We will also be the first to mirror the US Soccer U14 National Team Camp itinerary. We will provide you the attention you deserve, build your confidence and improve your game.
WHY STA? Our camp programming is unique in that it follows the methodology presented by US Soccer Coaching Education National ‘A’ License and US Soccer National Youth License. The STA Coaching Staff are educators and believe that with an arsenal of knowledge, training and experimentation, players can enjoy reaching their goals, dreams and/or simply reach their next level! What also makes our camp program unique is that each Field Player and Goalkeeper will be directed by and led by US Soccer National ‘A’ License coaches and Pro Soccer Trainers. The STA Coaching Staff is hand-picked and includes former professional and collegiate coaches/players, some of which have come through the STA program. Our staff has over 50 years of coaching experience!

Gear. Each camper receives a Nike Dri-Fit training uniform (two jerseys, shorts, socks), professional soccer instruction, speed/agility/conditioning specialist, sports psychologist (select locations only), certified athletic trainers and excellent accommodations/meals at some of the finest institutions. In preparation for camp, players will need to bring enough gear for warm/cool weather, rain, swimming. A tips/advice list will be emailed to you after registration/payment; to help you prepare for a successful camp experience.
Roommates. You select your roommate. We offer only double rooms; one roommate only! Upon registration/payment you will receive via email a packet of information that you will fill out and send back to our staff.
Medical / Information. Upon registration/payment you will receive via email a packet of information that you will fill out and send back to our staff. If you have attended an overnight camp over the past two years you may copy your medical form and send that back to us instead of filling out our form. Along with the medical form you will receive additional details, directions and more.
Camp Bank. We recommend that players plan on bringing a minimum of $50.00+dollars for use at our camp store. Our staff will keep track of your money. You can use your money for snacks, drinks, pizza orders, etc.
Arrival / Departure. This will vary per camp and state. Please refer to the State Tabs above. Check-in Registration typically begins between 3-5pm on Day 1. We will have an Awards Ceremony to conclude each camp. Check-out will be prior to the Award Ceremony where players return keys and a clean-room-check is completed.

Our camp experience is unique in that we only register 30 players per gender for each program. This allows for a fantastic player-to-coach ratio where every player receives personal attention from every staff member (we truly get to know every player).
PROGRAM DESIGN. For Field Players and Goalkeepers. Our 2014 camps will mirror the US Soccer U14 National Team Camp itinerary and methodology. Our comprehensive four days of fun, educational and competitive training/game environments will also include technical testing, physical testing, psychological testing and personal/match analysis. The goal is to provide each and every player with an honest, realistic foundation of where they are now and help them build a plan to succeed tomorrow.
COACHING STAFF. Brian Kuk, US Soccer National ‘A’ License, US Soccer Coaching Education and US Soccer Market Training Staff will direct each camp. The STA Coaching Staff will include Shay Bell (US Soccer National ‘A’ License), Carl Gray (US Soccer National ‘A’ License), Matt Lawrey (US Soccer National ‘A’ License), Emily Perrin (US Soccer National ‘C’ License & Former UVA Women’s Player), Sarah Curtis (US Soccer National ‘C’ License & Former Richmond Destiny Professional) and Eduardo de Souza (Men’s Associate Head Coach, Longwood University). Current and former NCAA Division I players will round out the coaching staff to complete the great staff ready to help you excel! We will also have special guest coaches and instructors who bring International, National and Collegiate coaching experiences to our campers.
PLAYER INFO. This program is for the ‘serious soccer player’. We define the ‘serious soccer player’ as someone who is committed to working hard every session, is coachable/wants to learn, respectful of competition/coaches/campers and has the dream of playing at the next level. For players who are currently playing travel level soccer and aspire for more. The emphasis of this program is an elevation of intensity and competitiveness. Instructors will positively push players to understand the nuances of technique, advanced tactical concepts, the importance of physical fitness relative to the sport and the psychological areas to focus on to improve, succeed and gain confidence. Campers will be part of technical testing and technical-tactical-functional-skills-circuit training in the morning, followed by swimming, lunch, afternoon psychological testing, world-cup 3v3 or 4v4 tournament (actual games), dinner and evening 11v11 match play. Instructors will guide, advise and challenge players to maximize peak-performance each and every training session and match.

- Team Discounts available for 8+ players; inquire via [email protected]. Teams that bring less than 11 players will be matched will other similarly registered teams for matchplay; we will not split teams up, even if it means a larger number of players on a team for an evening match.
Day Camps
FUN. EDUCATIONAL. SKILL DEVELOPMENT. Great coaches let kids enjoy the sport. The way they want to remember it. Create a Day Camp experience for your recreational department, soccer club or association. We will come to you!
GOAL.Our goal is to provide fun and educational activities that motivate young players to develop individual skills and introduce small group/team concepts.
We will focus on technical foundation and skill development of: dribbling, passing, 1st touch/receiving, shooting and goalkeeping. Each player will have the opportunity to experience it all!
STAFF. You expect the best. Don’t go to another camp that offers novice coaching or is not experienced in long-term development of young soccer players. US Soccer ‘A’ & ‘B’ License and US Soccer National Youth License staff will conduct the sessions. US Soccer is the pinnacle of coaching and provide specific best practices and methodology for the youngest players to enjoy and learn. We will utilize these best practices and methodology to enhance the overall camp experience and separate our day camp programming.
